FSSAI – The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India is a regulatory body responsible for overseeing the safety and standards of the food business across the country. Renewal
The validity of the FSSAI license extends from 1 to 5 years. It is based on the number of years chosen by the food operator. The cost of the license, however, increases with the number of years he has applied. According to FSSAI guidelines, you are required to apply for FSSAI license renewal within 30 days of the expiration of the existing one.
If the renewal application is not filed within this time, certain amount will be charged for each day of delay. If the registration for renewal of the license is not implemented within the stipulated time, then the license is deemed to have expired in this way and the business operator will have to close its business activity on the premises. The business manager will also have to apply for a new license if they want to resume business in this way. Therefore, it is always advisable to renew your FSSAI food license when provided to avoid penalties.

The procedure is performed in the following steps:
Form A / Form B Filling: Form A or Form B filling is necessary depending on the eligibility of the food operator. These are basic forms that include the business activities of a food operator that need to be filled out with a self-certified declaration that you need to comply with the rules of the FSSAI. Photo identity proof such as Aadhar card, driving license, voter identity card, passport etc. need to be attached.
Verification: Upon receipt of your application, the authorities will examine it and will also be able to arrange inspections at your business premises to ensure that you have disclosed all information properly submitted.
Completion: After successfully inspecting your business proceedings, if they have satisfaction, they will issue a license in your favor.
Getting a License: Then the license should not take more than 60 days to reach you. If more than 60 days have passed and you have not received a food license, then you can resume your business without waiting for any notification. Documents required to apply for renewal of licenses issued under existing law before the new regulation.

Modifications to information / documents previously provided under previous license grants.
Certificate or Plan (FSMS) / Self-Declaration of Food Safety Management System in the context of FSMS / Annual IT Report.
List of workers’ medical health certificates.
Names, qualifications and details of technical persons in charge of operations.
Ninth Form: Nomination of Individuals with Board Resolution.
In case of Delhi and Himachal Pradesh a Declaration form is necessary.
